Readers of our May 5 and May 12 coverage of SARS appreciated our reportage even as they shared their own fears. "Excellent!" said one. Wrote another: "SARS has shown us all how vulnerable we are in this global village." A third concluded, "Progress may make us sick but its lack is likely to kill us."
