Service to brokers and buyers keeps local brokerage ahead of competitors

RICHMOND -- In this tough real estate market, locally owned Security Pacific Real Estate Brokerage dominates West Contra Costa County's residential scene.

Says Ray DeGennaro, co-founder and co-owner, "We've tried to be the leader in the industry and stay ahead of competitors."

In the first 11 months of 1990, Security Pacific accounted for roughly half the sales volume reported by the West Contra Costa Board of Realtors. At the same time, the Security Pacific's 122 agents were only about one-fifth of the agents who are members of the Board of Realtors.
