Section: Economy - Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra described his three-day visit to Japan from 4 to 6 June 2003 as a success. In his radio address in the program "Prime Minister Thaksin Talks to the People," broadcast on Radio Thailand on June 7, the Prime Minister said that his trip to Japan was worthwhile, as he met members of both the Japanese business and government sectors, and agreements between Thailand and Japan were concluded on many issues.
