Los judíos, para consolidar su Estado, cometieron grandes injusticias contra la población palestina como confiscaciones, persecuciones y expulsiones; en respuesta, los palestinos reaccionaron y actuaron con violencia con acciones terroristas. La ocupación militar israelí de Cisjordania y Gaza a partir de la Guerra de los Seis Días de 1967 y hasta la Declaración de Principios de 1993 significó la etapa más intensa del conflicto árabe-israelí. Fue precisamente después de la Declaración de 1993 y los subsecuentes acuerdos entre las partes donde se suponía que la situación iba a cambiar. Pero, como lo señala el autor, los palestinos viven bajo la dominación y control de los israelíes, lo cual ha traído como respuesta las reacciones violentas y el resurgimiento del fundamentalismo islámico de Palestina

Abstract

The Jewish people, in order to consolidate their State, have committed great injustices towards the Palestinian population like confiscations, persecution, expulsions; these actions have been faced by the violent retaliation of the Palestinians in the forro of terrorist actions. The Israelí occupation of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, from the Six Day War in 1907 through the Declaration of Principles in 1993, constituted the most intense part of the Arab-Israeli conflict. It was precisely after the Declaration of 1993 and the agreements derived from it that the situation was meant to change. But, as the author points out, the Palestinians live under the domination and control of the Israelis, which provokes their violent reaction and the rise of Islamic fundamentalism in Palestine.
