(Armonk, NY) -- IBM has introduced a new option for companies that want supercomputing power but nor the fixed costs and operational responsibility of owning a supercomputer. IBM customers now have the choice to either buy POWER or intel processor-based supercomputer clusters or to access these systems on demand paying for processing power based on the required capacity and duration of use.
