Nokia handset share slides in Q1

The Finnish mobile phone maker's global handset market share fell to 35% from 36.2% in Q4, Gartner Dataquest said. No. 2 Motorola had a 14.7% share in Q1 vs. 16.9% in Q4. But No. 3 Samsung rose to 10.5% from 9.3%. Handset sales grew 18.2% to 113 mil units from last year.

** Only 2% of British mobile phone users can send photos from their handsets, but 20% are interested in the technology, says a survey by J.D. Power & Associates.

** Nokia inked a deal with AOL Time Warner's Warner Music to provide music on its 3330 handset.
