The overall theme of the Management Conference 2003 is knowledge-based social and economic change. Driven by globalization and advances in information and communications technologies, this change has been characterized in terms of emerging information/knowledge societies and a global knowledge-based economy. To reflect and reinforce this perspective, keynote speakers have been invited to address the economic and social, human and organizational implications of knowledge-based change.

Sponsored by Australia's largest business faculty, RMIT Business in Melbourne in conjunction with RMIT's Globalism Institute and Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang, this conference will offer a comprehensive overview of current thinking in the area broadly described as knowledge management.
