Sometimes, even adults can benefit from a homework assignment.
While participating in the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Las Vegas program, Darcy Neighbors was assigned to work at Child Haven, a temporary care and treatment center for children 3 days to 18 years old who are abused, neglected or abandoned.
Neighbors' duties included feeding the children and getting them ready for school, everything a mother would do -- including wiping their noses. But while at this homework assignment something touched Neighbors.
