In recent weeks and months, Argentina has received considerable international publicity, with stories appearing in media outlets that never had carried information about Argentina before. This attention is unfortunate, because our country has become "famous" for the wrong reason--its economic crash. Corruption, social chaos, financial default, unemployment, a broken institutional system, and the incompetence of politicians are the most usual news items covered about our country today.
