A LABOUR Court judgement that is set to touch the wallets of all employers and their hourly-paid employees who are entitled to paid annual leave is set to be challenged on appeal.
The judgement, written by Judge Sylvester Mainga, was handed down in the Labour Court in Windhoek two weeks ago, but has evidently left one of the parties, Walvis Bay-based harbour services company Erundu Stevedoring, dismayed and not about to give up its fight.
Managing Director Willem Visagie told The Namibian on enquiry yesterday that the company plans to appeal against the judgement.
