HYDERABAD, May 8. ANDHRA Bank has registered a growth of 99 per cent in net profit at Rs 402.99 crore for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2003 compared to Rs 202.27 crore in the previous fiscal and a growth of 77.45 per cent in operating profit at Rs 754.83 crore (Rs 425.38 crore).

The bank's board, which took on record the audited financial results here on Thursday, has recommended a dividend of 24 per cent for the year as against 14 per cent in the previous fiscal.

The bank achieved an interest income of Rs 2,195.02 crore (Rs 2,029.83 crore) and non-interest income of Rs 603.64 crore (Rs 304.02 crore) during the year under …
