More people are taking digital photos these days, but a group of investors is betting that most of them aren't interested in retouching the photos themselves with software.
Bellamax Inc., a company that enhances digital photos as a service, announced Monday, May 5, that it closed a $6.3 million second of round financing from lead investor BA Venture Partners of Foster City, Calif., which was joined by Apex Venture Partners of Chicago, and Adobe Ventures of San Jose, Calif.
Bellamax turned to Greg Pickrell of Coudert Brothers LLP of New York as legal counsel on the deal.
Jim Fulton, a partner at Cooley Godward LLP of Palo Alto, Calif., represented the investors.
