When you spy a fine line on your face, it's hard not to feel outraged--shouldn't there be a longer break between teenage acne and wrinkle woes? But don't get mad, get even. Here's a three-step strategy for preventing new lines while getting rid of the ones you have.

 
STEP 1   Slather on the sunscreen. "It's the most important way 
         to prevent wrinkles," says Debra Jaliman, M.D., 
         clinical instructor of dermatology at the Mount Sinai 
         School of Medicine in Hew York City. "Most are a 
         direct result of sun damage." Always use a broad-spectrum 
         formula that blocks both UVA and UVB rays.
