Recently, my girlfriend of two years confessed to me that the entire time we've been together, she's been faking her orgasms. She told me so we could work on making it happen, but now I doubt my skill. As a result, I've completely lost interest in sex. What can I do to get over this?
Since people are embarrassed to tell the truth about their sexuality even to pollsters and psychologists, we will never know for sure how many women fake orgasms, just as we can never know how many men, if they could, would fake them too. However, it's safe to say that it's a very common occurrence, I would bet that your girlfriend faked it in the first place because she was afraid that if she took too long or did not come at all, it would hurt your feelings and she might risk losing you. And once she started to fake it, how could she stop? Furthermore, the guiltier she felt about faking, the more tense she became, making it more difficult for her to orgasm. ...
