Tyumen Oil (TNK) chief executive Viktor Vekselberg expressed his firm's interest in acquiring refining assets in Turkey at a meeting with Turkish prime minister Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara last week. TNK gave no further details. Next month, Turkey plans to sell a 51pc stake in state-controlled refiner Tupras, which has four plants with total capacity of 587,000 b/d.
