Terror attacks down 44% in '02

They declined to 199 globally. Attacks on the U.S. plunged 65%, from 219 to 77, the State Dept. said. The U.S. again branded Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, Syria and Sudan as sponsors of terrorism. Steps will be taken to remove Iraq. Iran was designated the most active terror supporter.

IRAN: Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said its cease-fire with an Iranian opposition group shows the U.S. thinks the bad terrorists are only those not its "servants."
