GIs Fire At More Iraqi Protesters
3U.S. soldiers again fired on anti-American protesters in Fallujah. The mayor said two people were killed and 14 injured. U.S. officers said the soldiers responded to rock-throwing and gunfire from a crowd protesting an earlier incident that killed 13 Iraqis. President Bush will say today that major fighting in Iraq is over.
