KRIS Aquino clarified her earlier comment about having sex three times a day.

Said Kris: "Korina (Sanchez) and I were talking about a news item on couple's healthy sex lives (on their daily morning show on ABS-CBN, "Morning Girls"). Korina asked me what I think about it so I was speaking in general terms. If a married couple are happy with each other, then three times a day is fine. Why not?"

Kris has been fondly tagged as "taklesa queen" because she tends to say things that are better left unsaid. But it's her candidness and honesty that has endeared the talk show host to her followers. Maybe viewers should just learn to sift her playful comments.

Even her on-and-off paramour, Paranaque Mayor Joey Marquez, was ribbed by his co-hosts on "S-Files" about Kristeta's intriguing statement. Joey played along and shot back, "I can't do it three times a day, just once a week but for 10 hours."

I wonder why he had to be teased by his co-hosts on the air about the issue. Did he want to tickle the public's imagination and hint that it's not really officially over between him and Kris? Or is he deliberately riding on the issue to edge out competition since "S-Files" is in a head-on collision with "The Buzz," which Kris co-hosts with Boy Abunda?
