TWO officials of the Commission on Elections will fly to South Korea today to check the background of the winner of the bidding for the P1.7 billion automation program.

Comelec Commissioner Resurreccion Borra and Director Jose Tolentino will conduct an ocular inspection of the plants and facilities of the Mega-Pacific Consortium in Seoul, according to Comelec Chair Benjamin Abalos Sr.

Borra chairs the automation phase of the election modernization program while Tolentino heads the Comelec technical working group.
