SM Mart, Rustan workers gearing for May 1 protests.

The workers' union of SM Mart, Inc. and Rustan Commercial Corp. are gearing for bigger protest actions during the Labor Day celebrations tomorrow.
The Sandigan ng Manggagawa sa Shoemart (SMS) and the Rustan Democratic Employees Union (RDEU) yesterday said they are set to go to the streets in protests following their pickets at their respective malls.
"We would participate in the mass mobilizations on Labor Day. We are still on strike in our five mall branches," SM union president Rose Gablanca told BusinessWorld in an interview.
