After putting the Nam Con Son gas pipeline into operation in November last year, gas from the Lan Tay field off southern Ba Ria Vung Tau province has been brought onshore with an output of 2.3 million cu m per day, announced the Vietnam Oil and Gas Corp. (PetroVietnam).

As at April 27, the corporation has drilled 244 million cu m of gas from the field.
