With barely two days to the much talked about Amenfi West by-election, both the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the two main political parties contesting the election, continue to trade accusations and counter accusations.
Whilst NDC accusations centre on the abuse of incumbency which they have repeatedly trumpeted in almost all the by-elections, their opponent, the NPP, is also alleging that NDC foot soldiers have been going round the villages telling the electorate the NPP candidate, Mrs. Agnes Sanful, is a disabled woman and therefore not fit to be voted into Parliament, a comment the NDC insists it has not made.
