2003 MAY 1 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Cytokine PharmaSciences, Inc., (CPSI) has signed an exclusive license with Integrity Pharmaceutical Corporation for U.S. rights to market CPSI's second-generation cervical ripening product.
Cervical ripening agents are used as a first step in the induction of labor when a woman is at or past her delivery date. Through the agreement, CPSI will receive an up-front payment, milestones, and royalties. CPSI will manage all pre-NDA clinical work; Integrity will share expenses for this work.
"Integrity is an innovative company committed to women's health," stated Denny Willson, CPSI president and CEO. "We are excited to be working with Integrity and are confident of their expertise to market our product successfully."
