AM-SGB expects new marts to help meet revenue target.

ARAB-Malaysian SGB Sdn Bhd's (AM-SGB) entry into new markets could help it meet its 20 per cent revenue growth target this year, its managing director Harald Mayrhofer said yesterday.

AM-SGB, which manufactures cast-resin transformers ranging from 50 KVA (kilo volts amperes) to 15,000 KVA, posted a revenue of RM33.5 million for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2002.

The company currently exports its transformers to Brunei, Australia, Germany, the Philippines, Singapore, Yemen, Sudan and Fiji.

It now plans to venture into Vietnam, the West Asian and African markets, Mayrhofer said.
