I am currently having casual sex with my ex-boyfriend, and now our relationship is better than ever. He communicates more and takes me out on real dates, and the spark that had died out the first time seems to be back. But were not a couple. Am I running the risk of getting hurt all over again?

For the record, as long as a woman goes on making love with a boyfriend, he is not really her ex. Every time you hop into bed with him, you keep yourself from moving on. And you two are sharing a lot more than a bed--you communicate, you go out on "real" dates, and the spark is heating up. As you say, things have never been better between you. Maybe you are not sharing rent and maybe you have not exchanged promises of eternal fidelity, but nevertheless, who are you kidding? You really are back together.
