Dancer

Fearless factor: For the past year, I've been a techno dancer--one of those girls up on a platform--at a nightclub. Not such a big deal ... except I'm 75 percent deaf. At first, I was worried I wouldn't hear the music, but I realized that as long as I'm energetic, the crowd is inspired to dance.

Fun factor: All that dancing has gotten me into terrific shape. I recently modeled for a fitness magazine, and now I am training for a Musclemania competition. Not only have I had the chance to travel, but I've also made new friends and built my confidence.
