Governor Umaru Musa Yar'Adua of Katsina State was yesterday declared the winner of Saturday gubernatorial election in the state.

According to the state Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mr Moses Ogbeh, Yar'Adua of the Peoples Democractic Party (PDP) scored 892,340 votes to beat the other five candidates who contested in the race, with the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) candidate, Eng. Nura Kalil coming second with 742,576 votes.

Others are Alhaji Tajo Usman of National Conscience Party (NCP) who got 178 votes, Yakubu Sada Abubakar of National Democractic Party (NDP) 463 votes, Amani …
